About Celia Willson

I've wanted to be a writer for as long as I can remember. As a child, I found comfort in books and the endless possibilities they created. Reading and writing became more than hobbies, they became a way of understanding the world.

By the age of 11, I'd lost my parents. The person I call my mum, Olive, had been my guardian since I was three. She gave me one of life's greatest gifts: a belief in the power of education. She surrounded me with books, encouraged my love of English and literature, and taught me that knowledge is something no one can take away. She also lived by a simple principle that has stayed with me: "If you cannot help someone, keep moving, don't add to their burden."

Life has brought loss, change, heartbreak and new beginnings. Those experiences taught me that while we can't always choose what happens to us, we can choose how we respond. Writing became my way of sharing those lessons, not as an expert, but through lived experience and imagination.

My self-help books offer encouragement, practical guidance and hope. My fiction explores relationships, resilience and identity, while my children's books inspire curiosity, kindness and imagination.

Whatever the genre, my goal is the same: to write books that leave people feeling stronger, more hopeful or simply a little less alone.

If just one of my books helps someone see a new possibility or find hope in a difficult moment, then I've achieved what I set out to do.

Thank you for visiting Celia Willson Books. I hope you'll find a story, an idea or a lesson that stays with you long after you've turned the final page.
